Three Tips for Planning Your Senior Session
I remember when I was a senior in high school and I had no idea what to pack, what to wear and who could come to my senior photos. Gosh, it was the first time that I had photos taken of me where I wasn’t playing a sport. Below are my three biggest tips if you are a senior in high school. There is so much that goes into senior session, use these tips.
Book your senior session EARLY. Especially if you are wanting those beautiful warm summer colors. Most photographers, including myself book a couple months out especially in the summer time due to weddings.
Bring lots of outfits. All of my sessions I allow for unlimited outfits so you can showcase all of the things you did in high school. Were you an athlete? Bring all your jerseys! Were you the person that lived in leggings? Wear them! Is there a special jacket/sweatshirt that showcases your accomplishments? Bring that jacket!
Do not be afraid to ask questions to your photographer! This is something they specialize in and can have so many resources (what to wear guide, packing list, prop ideas and location scouting) that they can share with you.
Senior photos are something that you get done once to top off your high school career. Lets make this the best experience possible!
